The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, St. Paul, awarded a $27 million contract to Edward Kraemer and Sons, Inc. For the design and construction of navigation improvements at Lock and Dam 3 on the Mississippi River. Construction is expected to begin June 2010 thru Sep. 30, 2011.

Lock and Dam 3 near Red Wing, MN announces 3-phase navigation project. Work will begin mid-January and continue through Sept 2011.
